Customise Your Branding

Jonot’s customer-facing surfaces — the queue display, the kiosk, and the customer’s ticket page on their own phone — can be re-themed to match your organisation’s brand instead of Jonot’s default look. Branding is applied per organisation and propagates live to every paired device without a redeploy.

The clip below shows the same three surfaces cycling through several different brand identities — logo, colors, fonts, and corner radius all change together, while the underlying product stays exactly the same.

Open Settings → Branding in the admin panel:

  • Logo — a hosted image URL. It appears in the footer of the customer ticket page and kiosk, and — on the display — above the “Now serving” heading.
  • Logo size — a size multiplier (0.8–1.6×, default 1.0) that scales your logo up or down on the customer, kiosk, and display screens.
  • Primary and secondary colors — the two core brand colors used across buttons, headers, and accents.
  • Accent color — used for hover states and interactive focus rings.
  • Highlight color — used for icons, labels and status, never for buttons or links.
  • Call flash colour — the colour of the full-viewport flash the display shows when a ticket is called (see Notification Sounds for the flash behaviour itself).
  • Text, background, surface, and border colors — the remaining palette that keeps every screen legible against your chosen brand colors.
  • Corner radius — from sharp (0) to fully rounded, applied consistently to cards, buttons, and panels.
  • Brand fonts — a stack of up to three fonts, each served by Google Fonts, applied in fallback order: the first font is primary, and later fonts cover characters the earlier ones lack. Reorder the stack with the up/down controls, and give any font an optional script filter (Latin, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, …) to narrow the picker to fonts that cover the scripts your enabled languages need. A coverage hint flags any script your chosen fonts don’t cover. Leave the stack empty to fall back to Jonot’s default (Inter). Each font is loaded on demand for the surfaces that need it.
  • Font scale — a size multiplier (0.85–1.5×) for organisations that want larger or more compact type throughout.

The admin panel shows a live preview of the display, kiosk, and customer ticket screens as you edit, so you can see the effect of each change before saving.

Jonot renders exactly what you upload — there is no automatic trimming or padding. If you want breathing room around your mark, bake that spacing into the image file itself.

  • Transparent background. A logo on a solid background will show that background as a box on every surface.
  • Horizontal or square lockups work best. A wide, landscape-oriented logo — or a square mark — scales cleanly into the footer and display hero. Avoid extremely tall, portrait-oriented stacks; they’ll shrink down to a sliver to fit the available width.
  • Format: PNG, JPEG, or WebP. SVG uploads are rejected.
  • Size: 1 MB maximum.
  • Resolution: at least 400×160 px (or the equivalent aspect ratio for a square mark) so the logo stays sharp at the larger sizes the Logo size control allows.

Use the Logo size control (0.8–1.6×, default 1.0) to fine-tune how large your logo appears once it’s uploaded — the live preview reflects the change immediately.

Saved branding changes push to every paired display, kiosk, and open customer ticket page for your organisation over the same live channel used for queue updates — there is no cache to clear and no app update to wait for. A customer with a ticket page already open sees the new look applied without reloading.

Branding is set at the organisation level and applies to every location. There is currently no per-location override — all locations in an org share one brand identity.
